Dr.
Michael S. Russo received his Ph.D in philosophy from the Institute of
Philosophy of the Catholic University of Leuven in July 1997.
His areas of specialization are ethics and late ancient philosophy
with a specific focus on moral philosophy of St. Augustine.
Dr. Russo has been at Molloy since September 1995, when he was hired
to developed the College's Service-Learning Program. Besides
acting as Associate Director of the Molloy College Center for Social
and Ethical Concerns and as Global Learning Coordinator for the
College, Dr. Russo is also an Associate Professor in the Department
of Philosophy. His current motto is borrowed from
the philosopher Seneca: "Invenian viam aut faciam"
[I shall find a way or make one].
